I've chosen the following essential oils for their various benefits to skin and hair:

Stimulates hair growth.
Basil: Enhances the luster of dull-looking skin and hair. Improves the tone of your skin.
Cedarwood: The health benefits of Cedarwood Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties as an antiseborrhoeic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, emenagogue and fungicidal substance.
Tea tree: The health benefits of Tea Tree Essential Oil can be attributed to its properties as an antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral, fungicide, insecticide and sudorific substance.
Lavender: Some of the most important health benefits of lavender include its ability to relieve stress, improve mood, reduce inflammation, lower skin irritation, prevent infections and eliminate dandruff.
Lemon: The health benefits of lemon oil can be attributed to its stimulating, calming, carminative, anti-infection, astringent, detoxifying, antiseptic, disinfectant and antifungal properties. Lemon oil is a good remedy for increasing the luster of dull skin. It is astringent and detoxifying in nature, and rejuvenates sagging or tired-looking skin. Its antiseptic properties help in treating pimples and various skin disorders. Lemon is also recommended for reducing excessive oil on the skin. Lemon oil is also effective as a hair tonic. Many people use lemon oil to get strong, healthy and shiny hair. Lemon oil is also used to eliminate dandruff.

keratin hydrolysate silox: Keratin makes up more than 90% of the hair follicle and is a source of strength and flexibility. Adding hydrolyzed keratin increases the amount of cysteine available to the hair, minimizing damage and increasing tensile strength. These proteins are able to penetrate the hair cortex, building strength from within. Its film forming capabilities help reinforce, lubricate and protect the hair’s surface. Once the hydrolyzed protein has penetrated the hair’s cortex, its hydrophilic nature promotes an unmatched moisture binding capacity. These properties combine to restore and strengthen the hair. When hair is strengthened, the degree of damage from chemical treatments, heat styling, and the environment is lessened.
Keratin Hydrolysate silox is capable of providing moisture, resisting damage, strengthening, reinforcing, and protecting the hair. Keratin Hydrolysate SILOX is capable of increasing the shine reflected on the hair’s surface and providing perceivable stronger, healthier-feeling hair. Iimparts benefits that tactilely and visually improve the sensorial assessment of typically unruly or frizzy hair. This product is ideal for use in hair care formulations, to increase shine, combability, thickness, hydration, strength and softness while smoothing the cuticle for hair that appears visibly healthier and tactilely more manageable.
Squalane: A natural moisturizer, antioxidant and repair ingredient.
Carob Extract: A hair and skin conditioner that helps to plump up hair by increasing the diameter of the fiber to create fullness and gain volume. The amino acids and peptides also target damaged, thin, chemically treated and/ or aged hair. It’s an excellent anti-oxidant that also works as an anti-inflammatory and film former, which means it can increase hydration in skin and hair. It may work as an anti-bacterial, too.
Panthenol: Vitamin B5; Humectant. Improves skin hydratrion, reduces redness and inflammation, increases wonud healing by stimulating skin epitheliazation, improves skin barrier mechanism repair, mitigates itching and soothes irritation.
Hydroxypropyltrimonium Lemon Protein: A positively charged or cationic ingredient – a polyquaternium or cationic polymer – acts as a conditioner, anti-static, and moisturizer that also increases shine. It’s also is being hydrating, strengthening, and film forming. It’s also great for reducing wet combing forces.
Glycol distearate: Emollient, emulsifier.
Propanediol: a humectant, meaning it draws water from the atmosphere to your skin or hair to offer hydration. It has a dry, powdery skin feel with no tackiness that can be used in just about any product that contains water.It’s derived from corn.
Tocopherol: Vitamin E, this vitamin is lipid-soluble, which means that it helps in cell-membrane stability. The antioxidant content in Vitamin E protect our cells from the negative effects of free radicals.
Cetearyl alcohol: This short chain, saturated, fatty alcohol imparts an emollient feel to lotions and creams and works with cationic quaternary compounds to super-charge conditioners.
Behentrimonium chloride: a positively charged or cationic quaternary ammonium salt that acts as a hair conditioner and emulsifier.
Polyquaternium 37: a positively charged or cationic quaternary compound that acts as an antistatic agent, film former, and hair fixative.
Polyquaternium 78: A positively charged or cationic quaternary compound naturally-derived from renewable resources. Gives excellent conditioning for hair, and are much milder for eyes and skin in a formulation as compared to many traditional quaternaries. Does not build up on hair and offers excellent combability performance on both wet and dry hair.
Rice amino acids: Rice amino acids provide a very low odor, low color-conditioning additive. Amino acids have been shown to improve the strength of hair, particularly hair that has been chemically treated. The amino acid penetrates into the hair shaft to provide moisture and add to the structural integrity of the hair. More over and perhaps most importantly amino acids produce a benefit, which is directly perceivable to the consumer through their sense of touch.
Lactobacillus/Date Fruit Ferment Extract: The date fruit itself is rich in simple carbohydrates (invert sugar1 and fructose), comprising up to 70% of the fruit. The remainder of the fruit is rich in organic acids (primarily lactic acid), folic and ascorbic acids, iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, copper, phosphorus, thiamine, riboflavin, and biotin. On the hair, the organic acids of the biofermented date fruit extract will help to smooth and shrink the cuticle, while the carbohydrates increase the thickness.
Polyperfluoroethoxymethoxy Difluorethyl PEG Phosphate: A variety of work has been done with regard to the benefit of fluorinated material in hair care. Fluorinated materials can change the surface energy of polymers to bind the hair at distinct intersections. Which in turn sizably improves the polymers ability to produce a bouncy curl and increase volume in hair.
Phenoxyethanol: Preservative.
Disodium EDTA: Hard water modifier/chelating agent.
